Design Assistant
On the road to a fully automated Design Assistant Expert System, MotionInfo has created a semi automated version.
If you would like a preliminary motor design or a second design opinion to verify yours, you can get help
through MotionInfo's Design Assistant. The Design Assistant is backed by MotionInfo's strategic partners with
considerable design experience.
The Process Is Simple.
- Fill in the Design Specification form.
- Submit the form. Your account is charged each time you submit a form.
- MotionInfo sends the form to one of our experienced motor designers.
- Using tried and true software, our designer runs a design through our software.
This is where the designer adds their experience in using the software and having done many designs,
to get a meaningful result. Our designer may run a few iterations of the software changing parameters
to try to achieve an optimum design.
- Our designer prepares a report that provides you the complete results of the design in
the form of tables and graphs.
- MotionInfo e-mails you the results of the latest iteration, only.
- Depending on the availability of our designer and when you send in your request,
you will receive the results within 3 to 4 business days.
- We would be pleased to run iterations, based on some changes in the data you provide,
for an additional fee of 60% of the original fee.
- Iterations based on our error in entering the data you provided, are free.
If for any reason a design could not be completed, any fees you paid will be credited towards your next use
of Design Assistant or will be credited towards any design consulting services you contract with MotionInfo
or our Strategic Partners or purchase of the design software. (See our Information Product Center for purchasing
any software product.)
Motor technologies that can be designed are: Brushless pm; Brush dc pm; AC Induction; Switched Reluctance.
